Dear mercy to me, compassinate and beautiful love-giver.

Oh heart of my heart, Oh eyes of my eyes,

Oh greatest lover of my love.

Oh secret of my secrets, Oh eternal beauty!

Strip me of my self, self the seed of eternal separation,

I crown you lord of my heart.

Dear mercy to me, everytime I think of you

my eyes flow like the rivers in paradise,

falling like mercy upon my face, a kiss upon my lips,

and light upon my neck.

This time these tears fall..

                  ... upon my heart with burning extinction.
