THE LIGHTED EYES
Knowledge was naught of oceans being sweet
Nor mountains tasting of rain
Until The Mercy of Allah
Engendered through Prophet Muhammad (saw) was ordained
The ship journeys upon the palate
Thus, the heart does drink
And in submission we bow to Allah guided through a saintly link
The nectar drips down into our essence
Yet only to rise
Al-hamduli-llah, Subhanallah, for the gift of . . .The Lighted Eyes.
